Our Mission

Our mission is to build a like-minded community that is heart-centered and dedicated to spiritual growth. Our purpose is to awaken and empower all who attend through knowledgeable presenters, holistic products, and workshops that serve the mind/body/soul connection.

It all started with an idea and a realization.

Lock-downs and restrictions made it blindingly obvious how important human connection is.

Social interaction is essential to every aspect of our health. Research shows that having a strong network of support or strong community bonds fosters both emotional and physical health.

The Elysian festival was created to promote the healing power of connection; to harness the idea of togetherness and provide a safe and open environment for all.

We hope to build a solid community for inner healing that will provide the foundation for future generations to grow healthier in mind, body, and spirit.

The universe placed these 5 incredible women together to create something magical

Leanne De Palma

From an early age, Leanne was always drawn to live a spiritually guided life. Today, Leanne devotes much of her time to teaching and deeply exploring the depths of meditation. As a natural teacher, she finds great joy in helping others to understand their potential for clarity, joy and peace in this lifetime.

It was through her love of meditation that the idea of creating a festival came to fruition. The festival is a divine plan to bring people and communities together in the name of health and well-being.

Leanne has a profound interest in all things metaphysical. She can’t wait to explore these topics with everyone participating at this year's festival!

Amie Edmonds

Feeling the shift in the collective and understanding

that there are alternative ways of healing, Amie has been drawn to helping others get to a space where they can gain the confidence to heal in a different way. Being a part of the festival has given Amie a new outlet to help others in a larger way.

Mental health awareness has been a big part of her life and teaching others it’s okay to speak out about it. Expressing our experiences of life will break the mental heath stigma. Amie is an advocate of using your experiences to help you grow and evolve.

Charlene Barlett

Charlene has worked in finance for most of her career, but it's her passion for finding solutions to mental health challenges that has brought her to join the Elysian Festival. The world has become such a heavy place with respect to mental health and social connection. Tools to maintain spiritual, physical and mental balance are needed more than ever. We have started many conversations like "Let's Talk " but we need to evolve to "Let's Do". It's time we start putting mental health solutions into practice. Charlene is proud and excited to partner with individuals driven to spread healing practices to the masses.

Carley Johnson

Carley has always been intuitive and considered herself to have a "hippie soul". On a sunny July morning in 2019 Carley experienced her first spiritual awakening. The heaviness of perfectionism and anxiety became too much so she hit rock bottom and began the journey of learning how to let it all go.

Being immersed in the world of alternative healing through her own business, Carley works with animal spirits, angels, and Nature to help others heal pain, trauma, and limiting beliefs. She knew joining this committee was part of a bigger plan. She brings passion, a love of writing, and humour to the team.

Nat Kipling

Nat Kipling is the owner of Headwaters Wellness and heart behind Gather Cafe in Alton. She fell in love with Osteopathy after taking her colicky daughter for treatment 14 years ago. She decided to quit her job and return to school for 4 years while raising her girls and jumped right into starting her own wellness centre. It was while providing healing for others that Nat began awakening spiritually and saw the power of healing in groups, through meditation and healing circles.

Nat is passionate helping others heal and fosters building community and connection. She excited to join the team this year as Social Media lead.
Nat is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, Reiki Master, Craniosacral Therapist, Meditation and Retreat Facilitator and Yoga Teacher in Training.
